WATCH: Students' Go To School despite Danger will Bring you to Tears. INSPIRING!
While most of other students rant about traffic or waking up early, or having to go to school on rainy days, they'd be ashamed of the story of these students.
Located in Southwest China, is the 200-year-old village of Atule'er which is a cliff village as it rests on top of a 2,624-foot-tall peak. It is a very small community where 70 families thrive. They are self-sufficient and grow chilies and corn for living. But unfortunately, life isn't that simple for them, especially to the young people of the community. The nearest school to this village is Le'er Primary School and it rests at the foot of the mountain. The worst part, the only way to get to school is through the seventeen vine ladders that these students had to climb up and down.
While adults would take an hour to climb down and 90 minutes to climb up, these 15 students who pursues studying, takes up to 2 hours just to finish climbing down! And of course, it takes much longer for them to get back up. Usually, they stay at school for two weeks to avoid doing these everyday.
Just to make it more breathtaking, there are nothing but ropes and adults that accompany them are their only safety nets. There are always 3 parents accompanying them and they tie a rope around the children's backpack or pants. But those were obviously not enough to keep the 8 residents who fell to their last year, safe. Things even get worse when it rains or snow.

Meanwhile, local government of Zhaojue County, located in Sichuan Province has set aside $155,00 dollars for the residents. But it wasn't to construct a road but to buy sheep for them. The government would need at least 9 million dollars to link the village to school, which at the moment, is not available.
