LOOK: Sen. Trillanes 'glad' that Robredo resigns from Duterte’s Cabinet

Senator Antonio Trillanes on late Sunday released a statement through his twitter account following Leni’s resignation as HUDCC Secretary of President Duterte’s Cabinet.

Trillanes said he was "glad" to know that Vice President Leni Robredo decided to vacate from President Duterte's cabinet earlier. He believes that the resignation of Robredo was bound to happen.

Trillanes pointed out the reason why he agreed on her resignation because he thinks the Vice President may be tainted by the Duterte admin’s politics of death, divisiveness, deceit and impunity.

Vice President Leni Robredo was one of the staunch critics of the burial of late President Ferdinand Marcos in the Libingan ng mga Bayani. She is also one of the Cabinet members of Duterte who sometimes opposed the decision of the President.

According to Senator Gordon, cabinet members who can’t support the decision of the President should resign from their position.
