Duterte forced to go to U.S as Trump announces him as special guest at his inauguration



The President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump has announced the Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte as special guest at his inaugural ceremony.

Dignitaries all over the world would be heading to Washington to attend Trump’s inauguration as President of the United States on January 20.

U.S local media report that Rodrigo Duterte has a long-standing relationship with Donald Trump and has played a vital role in Trump’s business empire.



The President has confirmed that he has been given tickets to the US for Donald Trump’s swearing-in as the US president on Friday.

Duterte had earlier on appointed Andena and Esperon to attend the inauguration on his behalf but his position as a special guest may force him to be present.
