WOW! Bill Gates arrives with $20 billion to invest in the Philippines

The world's richest person, Bill Gates, has arrived in the Philippines, he tweeted. Bill Gates made headlines months ago after he expressed interest in investing in the Philippines with billions of Dollars.

The billionaire arrived in Manila late Thursday night and was welcomed by officials in government.

Many were those who thought the drug war embarked on by the president of Philippines Rodrigo Duterte would drive away investors from the country.

On the contrary, it is rather bringing in more investors as the country is now considered safer than ever before due to the washing away of all drug pushers and drug lords from the country.

In a press briefing, the richest man on earth Bill Gates admitted that it has been his plans to invest in the Philippines but was scared of the rapid increase in drug trade and its associated crime.

"I was very scared. I can't just send funds anywhere to invest. I have to make sure the country is safe. Now that Duterte has done away with drug lords and pushers, I'm here to invest", Bill Gates said.

The Philippines has been tipped by economic analysts to see a rapid economic growth in the coming months.
