Shocking revelation! CIA documents reveals Cory Aquino's 1989 requests for 'US Airstrike' vs Filipino soldiers
About 13 million pages of declassified documents from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have been released online and the records include Former President Cory Aquino's 1989 requests to the United States.
According to the document, Cory Aquino asked for U.S. assistance in crushing the most serious attempt to unseat her from power in the form of airstrikes against the rebels.
However, the United States refused to grant her request because of political risks in killing Filipinos.
