PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte named anew retired general and now Daanbantayan Mayor Vicente Loot in his second narco-list, Saturday, Sept. 17.
Duterte said Loot's name surfaces and gets mentioned in the fact-checking done by intelligence personnel with those involved in the narco list that included barangay captains, mayors, vice mayors, municipal councilors, governors, congressmen, police officers and police inspectors.

The Cebu town mayor, however, denied the accusation and said this was a political propaganda that merely resurfaced.
Loot retired from the Philippine National Police last July 2015 after 37 years of service, and was elected mayor of Daanbantayan last May 9 by a margin of seven votes.

The country he said is faced with various security threats including the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) and the military he said, will need to be trained on covert operations to thwart 'terrorism'.
Duterte has also cited corruption which has destroyed government and cited narco politicians taking advantage of this malaise.

The President said it is the police and military forces' sworn duty to the Philippine Constitution to protect the country from these menace and assured the soldiers his full support.
Duterte said someone has promised to donate P1 billion for the construction of field hospitals.
He also reiterated his promise of an increase in the salary of soldiers and provide additional weapons to equip them against terrorists.

I really admire Duterte for having the courage to spill the names of the ones responsible to running the drug institutions in the Philippines. He does not need an paper writers for hire to do this, because he does it himself in the service of the Filipino.
